SheepSafe gives you three simple ways to add something.Scan with Camera is ideal for standard receipts that can be captured clearly in one image.Upload File lets you add an existing receipt, invoice or document as a PDF or image. For full-page invoices and documents, uploading the original PDF usually gives the best result.Add Manually is perfect when you no longer have a receipt or simply want to add an existing item to your inventory.Choose the method that fits what you already have.
Yes. For most receipts, simply use the standard camera scan. If a receipt is too long to fit clearly into a single image, switch to Long Receipt mode. SheepSafe guides you through capturing the receipt in multiple sections so the complete receipt can be processed. For full-page invoices or documents, we recommend uploading the original PDF whenever possible.
Absolutely. SheepSafe gives you the flexibility to organise and maintain your items in the way that works best for you.You can change categories at any time, add or replace product images, add multiple images to an item, and manually add products to an existing receipt. You can also keep everything that belongs to an item together by adding warranties, manuals and other documents. If you need a document immediately, you can save it directly to your device at any time. You can create your own custom fields using text or date fields, edit them whenever needed, or remove them again. To maintain consistent data quality, three essential fields are always required and cannot be removed: Item Name, Purchase Date and Price. Please note that deleting a custom field will also delete any information previously stored in that field.
Almost anything you want to keep track of. From electronics, furniture and sports equipment to clothing, jewellery, appliances and everyday purchases.SheepSafe brings your items, receipts, warranties and important information together in one place.
No receipt? No problem. You can add an item manually and enter the information you have.We recommend adding important belongings even if the original receipt is no longer available. This helps you build a more complete overview of what you own.
Not at all. From your coffee machine and bicycle to your television, washing machine or favourite tools. SheepSafe is designed for everything that matters in your home.
Finding something in SheepSafe is simple.Your most recently added items are displayed directly on Home, giving you quick access to the things you have just scanned or added. For everything else, open Items in the bottom navigation. From there, you can search in two ways: by Products or by Receipts.Looking for your Kettler bike? Search your products. Looking for the receipt instead? Switch to receipts and search there. This means you don’t need to remember where something was stored. Simply search for the item or receipt you need and SheepSafe brings it back to you in seconds.
Yes. You decide what you want to export and how you want to use it.You can export your entire inventory, only selected items, or everything within a specific category.Choose PDF when you want a clear, visual overview of your belongings, or Excel when you want your inventory data in a structured format for further use. When creating a PDF, you can decide whether product images should be included. You can also include the documents stored with your items. These can be provided together in a ZIP file, giving you the inventory and the supporting documents you have collected in SheepSafe. This can be useful when you want to keep a personal backup, share information, prepare documentation or have your inventory available outside SheepSafe.
A receipt is more than proof that you bought something. It can contain important information such as the purchase date, price and retailer and may later be useful for a warranty claim, return, insurance matter or proof of purchase. The problem is that receipts are easily lost, fade over time or end up somewhere in a drawer when you actually need them. With SheepSafe, you can scan the receipt when you receive it and keep it digitally connected to the products that belong to it. You can also add further documents, warranties, manuals and photos to those products later. So instead of asking yourself “Where did I put that receipt?”, you know where to look.
Most people know roughly what they own, but very few know what everything together is actually worth.A television here, a bicycle there, phones, computers, furniture, watches, sports equipment, appliances and hundreds of other purchases can quickly add up to a significant value.SheepSafe gives you a structured overview of your belongings, their purchase prices and the information and documents connected to them. This can help you understand what you own, keep important purchase information organised and review whether the insured value of your household still reflects reality. And your inventory doesn’t have to be perfect from day one. Even if you no longer have every receipt, you can add existing belongings manually and build your inventory over time.
In the event of theft, fire, water damage or another unexpected event, remembering everything you owned and finding the relevant information afterwards can be difficult.A documented inventory can help you identify your belongings and provide the information you have available, such as product details, purchase dates, prices, receipts, photos, warranties and other documents. With SheepSafe, this information is organised before you need it. And because you can export selected items, categories or your entire inventory as PDF or Excel and include the related documents, you can prepare and share the information you need much more easily. The exact documentation required for an insurance claim depends on your insurer and policy, but having an organised record of your belongings can make an already difficult situation much easier to manage.
Yes. By recording the purchase price of your items, SheepSafe helps you build a clearer picture of the value represented by the things you own. This can be particularly useful when reviewing your household inventory or considering whether your current insurance coverage still reflects your belongings. The values stored in SheepSafe are based on the information you enter or confirm and should not be considered a professional valuation or insurance assessment.
