SheepSafe gives you three simple ways to add something.Scan with Camera is ideal for standard receipts that can be captured clearly in one image.Upload File lets you add an existing receipt, invoice or document as a PDF or image. For full-page invoices and documents, uploading the original PDF usually gives the best result.Add Manually is perfect when you no longer have a receipt or simply want to add an existing item to your inventory.Choose the method that fits what you already have.

Can SheepSafe scan long receipts?

Yes. For most receipts, simply use the standard camera scan. If a receipt is too long to fit clearly into a single image, switch to Long Receipt mode. SheepSafe guides you through capturing the receipt in multiple sections so the complete receipt can be processed.For full-page invoices or documents, we recommend uploading the original PDF whenever possible.

Can I organise everything my own way?

Absolutely. SheepSafe gives you the flexibility to organise and maintain your items in the way that works best for you.You can change categories at any time, add or replace product images, add multiple images to an item, and manually add products to an existing receipt.You can also keep everything that belongs to an item together by adding warranties, manuals and other documents. If you need a document immediately, you can save it directly to your device at any time.You can create your own custom fields using text or date fields, edit them whenever needed, or remove them again.To maintain consistent data quality, three essential fields are always required and cannot be removed: Item Name, Purchase Date and Price.Please note that deleting a custom field will also delete any information previously stored in that field.

How do I find something again?

Finding something in SheepSafe is simple.Your most recently added items are displayed directly on Home, giving you quick access to the things you have just scanned or added.For everything else, open Items in the bottom navigation. From there, you can search in two ways: by Products or by Receipts.Looking for your Kettler bike? Search your products. Looking for the receipt instead? Switch to receipts and search there.This means you don’t need to remember where something was stored. Simply search for the item or receipt you need and SheepSafe brings it back to you in seconds.

Can I export my data?

Yes. You decide what you want to export and how you want to use it.You can export your entire inventory, only selected items, or everything within a specific category.Choose PDF when you want a clear, visual overview of your belongings, or Excel when you want your inventory data in a structured format for further use.When creating a PDF, you can decide whether product images should be included. You can also include the documents stored with your items. These can be provided together in a ZIP file, giving you the inventory and the supporting documents you have collected in SheepSafe.This can be useful when you want to keep a personal backup, share information, prepare documentation or have your inventory available outside SheepSafe.
